10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania is the leading statewide nonpartisan voice for creating healthy, vibrant and resilient communities across the Commonwealth. Founded in 1998, we engage a multi-disciplinary network of partners to advocate for a balanced approach in public policy and investments to build and sustain strong communities for all Pennsylvanians – in our state’s diverse cities, towns, suburbs, and rural communities.
As a trusted authority on responsible land use, 10,000 Friends is the bridge between sectors, creating collaborations with state and local government, community benefit organizations, and the private sector to effect change through policy and community development solutions for neighborhoods that enhance health, foster innovation, create opportunity and transform communities.
