For many years, Bainbridge Island Rowing & friends have partnered with Arms Around Bainbridge to raise funds for local community members in crisis due to medical illness. BIR invites your donation via this site and/or to join us outside the Rowing Center (Waterfront Park) on Friday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m. for treats, camaraderie, prizes, and another opportunity to donate!

This year marks AAB's 20th swim relay around the island! What started as a group of seven friends doing a one-off swim to support Olivia Carey, Island Fitness trainer battling ovarian cancer, has grown into a robust organization that has given over $1.3 million to help neighbors stay in their community and focus on healing.

AAB is an all-volunteer organization and nearly 100% of funds raised go directly to recipients.
