As some of you may know, I sit on the board of Care 2 Communities (C2C), a nonprofit creating a model for sustainable, community-based healthcare in Haiti. C2C meets the needs of poor families by delivering low-cost, high-quality primary care through a social enterprise clinic model.

"GIFT A LIFE" is C2C's campaign to reduce maternal and child deaths in Haiti. Our goal is to provide comprehensive services for 1,000 pregnant women, from the onset of pregnancy through the baby's first year of life.
