To educate and empower high school students through the prudent and informed management of their financial resources.

Our Campaign

The importance of teaching teenagers how to make smart decisions with their money cannot be understated. We talk about how to budget, save, borrow and invest! Cents Ability is proud to be a part of this critical conversation. We offer FREE financial literacy workshops for all NYC and Chicago teens. 

And we are asking you to contribute to a specific goal: To ensure continued access for the schools and community-based organizations that have come to rely on Cents Ability's curriculum for their student's financial literacy education. 

Funds raised through this campaign will allow us to continue to provide our workshops free of charge to schools and raise funds to cover the operating costs for the entire academic year. When you make a donation to Cents Ability, you are facilitating essential learning for the youth we serve in mainly minority and low-income communities. These communities have been historically and disproportionately affected by the pandemic. 

Young people in marginalized communities deserve better. Your donation will help us give these young adults the financial tools and skills they need to achieve their dreams. The goal is to keep helping teens develop healthy and positive financial habits.
