Join me as I raise support for Christian Legal Aid of DC's "Cleared to Thrive" Campaign!

CLADC is a nonprofit organization that provides pro bono legal services to low-income residents across the DC area. Every year, through the support of donors, CLADC's staff attorneys and volunteers help hundreds of individuals navigate complicated legal challenges in the areas of criminal record sealing, housing, estate planning and probate.

This year's campaign, entitled "Cleared to Thrive", is all about second chances. In DC, a criminal record - often tied to minor or very old charges - can continue to block access to jobs and housing long after someone has paid their dues. But the process to seal is complex under DC law and often requires the advocacy of a lawyer to be successful. CLADC focuses much of its work on record sealing to help clear the path for individuals to move forward and truly thrive. I hope you'll join me in supporting this important work!
