For years, Halloween has been a big event at the Ewing House. We started setting up a haunted house in our driveway to attract more Trick or Treaters onto our street. Pretty quickly we realized that it was something the kids in the neighborhood looked forward to every year. Aiden Ewing. a Senior at Jesuit High School, had a brilliant idea. Instead of just having fun with the haunted house, why not turn it into an opportunity to give back? He saw the potential to use this event as a way to support CoreyStrong, a cause that we’re deeply connected to.
CoreyStrong is deeply committed to supporting children and families affected by Ewing’s Sarcoma, a cause that holds personal significance to our family. Ewing’s Sarcoma, a type of cancer discovered by Aiden’s Great-Great Grandfather, James S Ewing, has impacted countless lives, and the goal of this charity is to offer hope, resources, and support for those facing this difficult journey.
Over the last two years, with Aiden as our Chief Scarer, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $3,000, all of which went toward helping these brave kids and their families. The response was heartwarming, and it showed how much good we can do when we come together for a shared purpose.
This year, we’re doing it again, bigger and better, and we’ve set an even bigger goal: to raise $3,000. Our family is excited to bring the haunted house back to life, and we invite everyone to join us for a fun, spooky evening while supporting a cause that means so much to us. Your participation, whether by attending, donating, or spreading the word, makes a real difference. Together, we can make this Halloween memorable for both our community and the families fighting Ewing’s sarcoma.
We hope to see you there! Call, message or text if you want to come by so we can provide the details!
We'd love to see you but no need to attend to make a donation to CoreyStrong!
