Dr. Colleen Borelli is a board-certified OB/GYN and board member of the Jennifer Bush Lawson Foundation (JB-LF), whose mission of supporting low-income women and babies is especially meaningful to her. A longtime supporter of JB-LF, Colleen is proud to be part of the Foundation’s longstanding partnership with Virginia Hospital Center and its commitment to improving the lives of women and families in the community.
Colleen earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University before completing medical school and residency at The George Washington University, where she served as chief resident and was named Resident Physician of the Year. She currently practices at Northern Virginia Physicians to Women, where her areas of interest include obstetrics, menopause, adolescent gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” by Northern Virginia Magazine, Arlington Magazine, and Washingtonian.
Beyond her medical practice, Colleen volunteers at the Arlington Free Clinic and enjoys giving back to her community. She is the proud mother of two teenage boys and can often be found cheering from the sidelines at their baseball games. Colleen enjoys traveling, golf, cooking, and reading, and spending time with her husband, Steve, a journalist and sports parenting columnist for USA Today.
Colleen is grateful to her family and friends for their support as she takes on this challenge and looks forward to dancing in support of JB-LF.
