2019 has been a fantastic year for us here at Elfreth's Alley and we continue to make strides towards our mission to preserve and protect the Elfreth's Alley historic district, while advancing the stories of working Philadelphian's past, present and future.

Just to highlight a few achievements:

• We were open to the public for 31 weekends plus our 3rd annual Christmas Exhibit in December
• Received the second installment of the Philadelphia Cultural Fund Grant
• Our second year having a Part Time Associate Director
• Reinvigorating once again our robust archive and adding more recent items to be documented and protected

Beginning on #GivingTuesday, we will be asking for your financial support so we can continue to maintain positive momentum in 2020. Your dollars will go towards some of our immediate needs that it takes to maintain a 300+ year old street and buildings as well pave the way towards some of our more ambitious planning like our first steps towards breathing life back into 128 Elfreth's Alley which currently stands unusable.

For the month of December we are hoping to raise $5,000 from our friends and followers. Throughout the month tune into our social media channels as we offer glimpses into our needs and dreams that your generosity will go to support.

All donations given to the Alley during the month of December are going towards this campaign - so be sure to lookout for the donation bucket at Deck the Alley on Saturday December 7th or come take a tour of the Making Christmas Exhibit running on Saturdays and Sundays until the 29th of December to give a cash donation. Every dollar counts towards our efforts to keep the history of the every day working person alive and flourishing!
