Donate Now: Build a Library & Audio-Visual Learning Space for Children in a Tulum Orphanage
Because of generous community support, Phase One is complete.
The first classroom space at this children’s orphanage in Tulum opens on April 30th, Día del Niño (Children’s Day in Mexico).
Now we begin Phase Two — transforming the next room into a Library & Audio-Visual Learning Space where children can study, read, grow, and experience new opportunities.
This next room will become a safe, inspiring multi-use space featuring:
Bookshelves
Reading corner
Quiet study area
Educational resources
Projector wall for learning and films
Technology for educational use
Flexible desks and seating
Group workshops and tutoring
Yoga / movement area
Creative activities
Safe indoor gathering space
Where the children can select their clothing
Boutique is powered by community donations
Children are able to select items as needed
We are now raising the remaining funds to complete:
Construction upgrades
Paint / finishes
Shelving & storage
Furniture
Library setup
Projector / AV equipment
Learning materials
Final room design
All donations for this project are received and managed by Feed Tulum, a registered nonprofit organization based in Tulum, Mexico. Feed Tulum ensures transparency, accountability, and proper allocation of all funds toward labor, materials, and community-based work.
All architectural work for this project is fully donated by local architect Julio Hilzu, who has generously contributed his time and expertise.
All project management and volunteer coordination is donated.
Funds raised will go directly toward fair local labor and materials, supporting the Tulum community.
Throughout the project, donors will receive:
Budget transparency
Progress updates
Project milestones
Recognition during the space’s opening
This children’s home is more than a facility — it is a place where children grow up. It is where birthdays are celebrated, holidays are shared, and futures are shaped.
Your donation helps create spaces where children feel supported, inspired, and prepared for life beyond these walls. Even a small contribution leaves a lasting impact.
If you can donate — thank you. If you can’t — sharing this fundraiser makes a difference.
With deep gratitude,
Luis Martinez
