Help me support the Georgia River Network with a contribution of $25. I have learned so much through GRN.
First, I love kayaking. Second, rivers are a beautiful and vital part of Georgia. Whether it’s the Flint River—whose headwaters travel under Hartsfield Jackson Airport—or the Ogeechee River that winds out to the Atlantic Ocean.
GRN does outstanding work protecting Georgia’s rivers, and educating the people about our rivers through paddle events throughout the state.
Through GRN, I’ve come to understand the truth of Langston Hughes’ words.
“I’ve known rivers:
Ancient, dusky rivers.
My soul has grown deep like the rivers.”
