As a graduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas, I am raising funds to support Hillel here in North Texas! Please join me to spark Jewish life on campus for more students at this challenging time.
Since October 7th, I have seen and heard anti-Israel and antisemitic rhetoric on campus more than any other semester. Students were harassed while painting the Spirit Rocks with messages of solidarity with Israel and others were afraid to walk around campus visibly Jewish while anti-Israel protests drew huge crowds. UT Dallas is not in the news like MIT, Harvard, and Penn, but the need for a strong Hillel here has never been clearer.
Hillel is the place where Jewish students can fully be themselves. Hillel is the place where students can learn about Jewish life, learning, and Israel through multiple lenses. Hillel is where caring staff will be there to support students through any challenges on campus, advocate for them, and empower them. And Hillel is where I found a home away from home.
Thank you for standing with Jewish students and for your support of Hillel, making campus a more inclusive, safe place to be Jewish and proud!
