Dear friends and family of the Proctorsville Fire Department, 

Hopefully you saw and / or received our THANK YOU from the last fundraising letter campaign.  Let us again say THANK YOU.  

We have always felt well-supported by our community, but the success of last year’s letter campaign was staggering.  Even complete strangers from around the country contributed generously.  The money raised has allowed us to upgrade turnout gear for our more active members as well as outfit our new personnel.  

As the number and nature of our emergency calls continues to grow, we must always be focused on being prepared, with both our equipment and our skill sets.  So, we are reaching out to you once again – the family, friends, and neighbors who are always there for us, grateful for our work and providing the pillars of support that keep a volunteer organization standing strong.  We realize that our current world poses a variety of hardships for many, but we ask that you please give whatever you are able to to help us continue to serve our town and surrounding community. 

It’s more about participation than it is about how much you give.
