Support Queer Film LA to keep getting the best of LA's Queer film scene in your inbox. We find and amplify Queer films at LA's film festivals, arthouse cinemas, retrospectives, Q&As, sneak previews and more.

This 2024 year-end campaign celebrates Queer Film LA's first anniversary. In our first year of operations, we have promoted: 

- 499 Queer Film special events, including
- 171 Q&As with filmmakers and special guests, and
- 80 film festival screenings of brand new Queer films. Plus.
- 44 theatrical releases of new Queer movies in local cinemas.

As an all-volunteer program, we are able to find and promote LA's Queer film events with the digital resources from our parent nonprofit, the Queer Film Institute. However, to reach even more of LA's Queer community, we are seeking donations to help us spread the word in the real world. 

In this year-end campaign, we are seeking to raise $1,200 to pay for Queer Film LA posters, postcards, stickers, and merchandise. We need banners and tabling fees to have a presence at community events like Pride, conventions, and art fairs across LA next year. What better way to promote in-person Queer cinema events than through in-person community events?
