Safer Society Foundation
Based on the vision of its founder, Fay “Honey” Knopp, the agency strives to achieve this mission through two major initiatives:
- The Safer Society Press, which publishes leading-edge, evidence-based books for the prevention of sexual and social violence. The Press also provides products and services in support of this constituency, such as a free searchable Treatment Provider Directory and the Safer Society Press Podcast. The podcast episodes are recorded conversations with the “movers and shapers” in the field of sexual abuse prevention.
- The New Circle Mentoring Program, which helps Vermont at-risk children impacted by family member incarceration to overcome the unique obstacles in their paths to healthy adulthood.
