In August, I'll be taking on a triathlon as part of Team Bright Side, an incredible organization dedicated to funding cutting edge pediatric cancer research. This fundraiser is especially meaningful to me because Team Bright Side was created in honor of my friend Ryan Sheppach.

I met Ryan in the summer of 2025 when we were roommates while studying abroad in Australia. What started as a chance encounter quickly turned into a great friendship, and we've stayed close ever since. Getting to know Ryan and his story has shown me the strength, resilience, and positivity that define Team Bright Side and its mission.

That's why I'm proud to race and raise money in support of this cause. Every donation helps fund innovative pediatric cancer research and brings hope to children and families facing unimaginable challenges.
