I’m the baby of the bunch right now. I start this thing soon. And I’m HYPE. I started out with the company as an Artist of Color Scholar. I applied after seeing a student show and being swept up by the form. When I saw The Infinite Wrench, my thoughts were bolstered even further—this was work I needed to do, and I needed to do it because it scared me. I don’t think I need to explain why art that’s scary to make is the very art we need. As an AOC Scholar, my first moments here were about making sure there was space for me and my work. Every moment since then has been falling deeper in love with this place and those that make it happen. That’s the ensemble and staff but it’s also YOU.
