If you've ever been to The Infinite Wrench, you know that one word keeps things moving: NEXT. The word NEXT tells you that a play is over. The word NEXT tells you that it's time to call for another. The word NEXT, the 30th time you hear it, means that we have done what we set out to do.

Right now, no one knows exactly what to do. We're as furious and distraught as you are, and it's hard to trust that what comes next will be better than what came before.

But what we do know is this: for 36 years (7+ of which I've now been here for), we've had the privilege and good fortune to welcome our friends, fans and fam into a place of safety and community. A place of freedom, trust and expression. So that's what we'll keep doing.

This year the Neo's are aiming for $50k in 50 days, and I personally am gonna raise $2000...

It's been another wild year of shows and plays and classes and students and experiments and scholarships and access shows and joy and heartbreak and everything in between. And next year, my first-ever prime time, first-ever solo show How to Be Cool opens in February.

We couldn't do this work with the love and support (material, in person, and financial) of our friends and fams and fans I'm asking for your donation of literally any amount.

So where exactly does your money go? Here you go:

-producing the Infinite Wrench 49 weeks out of the year
-health insurance stipends for the ensemble and staff
-rent and utilities at our home on Foster and Ashland
-education scholarships for Artists of Color
-staff salaries

Where else did the money go this year?

- offering Pay-What-You-Can tickets to every single performance of The Infinite Wrench
- maintaining our COVID policy of weekly testing and audience mask requirements to help keep our community safe
- subsidizing performance and rehearsal space for community partners
- developing new curriculum and expanding our education program

What else do we need money for next year?

- quarterly Access Shows with ASL-interpretation in ADA-accessible spaces
- development of two new Prime Time Shows: "How to Be Cool" by Neil Bhandari (ME!) and "Abby Paj Tries to Stay Alive" by Abby Pajakowski
- continued commitment to offering Pay-What-You-Can tickets for all performances
- continued commitment to COVID safety
- developing new community partnerships
