Peter and I have been donating to the Payden Foundation for about eight years. The charity is impressive because it is sustained entirely by volunteers. The Blazing Saddles Ride is a celebration of Payden’s short life and also a way to help other families with a child facing serious illness. I love riding through the Bridger Mountains and along the Shields River but the best part is the free mini-massage I get at the end. (The Payden Foundation does not do follow up fundraising and they never share donor information.)
