Steven Revelian is a PhD student at St Louis University in USA. He comes from Tanzania where he is a founder of KARUDECA program, an NGO promoting rural development in Tanzania. Steven uses his education to support the vulnerable population in Tanzania. He is now planning a water support project for the people of Rugera ward, Karagwe district in Tanzania. The project will provide clean water to about 7,000 people in the region. As well, the project will provide sanitation and hygiene education to the people of the Rugera ward hence transforming their health, family and community development. Currently we are looking for funds to get a team to Rugera from our partner in East Kenya to assess the actual needs on the ground for this community. This project will be a combined effort of Living Water of Ohio, Karudeca, and Thirst Relief International. 100% of donations issued to Thirst Relief for this fundraiser will be used for this project. Funds raised in excess of the amount needed will be held for the next phase of this project or a similar project in Tanzania or East Africa.
