I need your help! I’m raising money to support the amazing students and teachers at Chavez Elementary School in Chicago. I used to work in Chicago Public Schools, and I currently tutor a student from Chavez, so this school community is especially close to my heart.
After many years in Chicago classrooms, I’ve seen how one caring adult and a strong foundation in reading can open doors for a child. That belief is why mentorship and literacy are at the heart of why I support WITS.
My goal is to raise $1,000 to provide books for students’ home libraries and classrooms, helping them build confidence, strengthen reading skills, and develop a lasting love of learning.
Access to books makes a real difference in students’ growth, and I see that impact firsthand. If you’re able to support this effort, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps and truly adds up. Thank you!
