Ripley is the inspiration behind 1 FUR 1 Foundation. This year he is retiring from duty and we want to thank him for the joy he brings to us and everybody, who met him. 

Back in 2014 he created a connection with an elderly Dementia patient and I knew that this type of spark should be shared and replicated. Since then over 27,000 children and seniors with disabilities have made that same spark with him and the other specially trained dog or mini horse.

During the most challenging era our organization has ever faced in 2020/2021, we discovered a tissue cancer on his back leg. After two surgeries he recovered only to find out that he will need another major surgery. This time was to take out his gallbladder and spleen. Ripley was a champ during recovery fighting each day to get better. And he did. His fighting spirit and love of family continue to inspire us every day and we thank him …. with continuing #1fur1impact that he started.
