Jambo! My name is Eliud Patson. I am 12 years old and I study in standard five at Lusanje Primary School.

In 2008, my mother and father both died with leg diseases. Now I live with my grandmother and my brothers.

When I go home after school, I do the farm work and fetch water. My favorite work is to feed the cow in an open grazing because I can get milk to drink. I grow maize, beans, peas, banana and vegetables.

My favorite subject at school is mathematics because I want to learn and be able to count things like cows, pigs, maize in the farm.

my dream is to become a teacher because I want to teach children.

In my village, I wish to see a hospital, maize milling machine, cows, chickens, pigs, pipe water and iron sheet houses. In my school I wish to see good classrooms and desks for the pupils.
