AFSSA fills a vital and unique need in serving domestic violence and sexual assault survivors in the pan Asian community. While larger DV/SA orgs do wonderful work, there's tremendous value in an organization with staff who understand the unique needs and culture sensitivities of the Asian community in Central Texas. AFSSA has been a valuable partner to me in practice as a domestic violence attorney and has made huge strides in increasing awareness and support for survivors, along with exemplary language access work.
