"Providing a variety of artist exhibitions and masterclasses gives our students an opportunity to spend time with a wide body of work and new skills that hone their creative practices," says ASFA Visual Arts Chair Darius Hill.

The mission of the Visual Arts Department at ASFA is to inspire and cultivate student creativity, provide dynamic instruction, and support individuality. Gifts to ASFA Visual Arts help the department to expand the current offerings and work to further achieve this mission. The department currently aims to improve the on campus gallery and expand its printmaking initiative through investing in new equipment, dedicating more studio space, and offering more printmaking masterclasses to students.
