Hi Friends! I am swimming again this year, with my dear eldest, Lorna. I am so excited to have her paddling along to keep me company…and look out for jellyfish! Last year was my first swim for AAB, weeks after my mom died from cancer. I plan to again take to the cold waters to help raise money for neighbors who need financial support due to serious illness, and will swim in memory of my mom and dad. My mom planted sweet peas at the waters’ edge, year after year, sharing her salt-kissed flowers with many. My dad instilled in me a deep love of the sea, through boating and sailing adventures and helped me appreciate the unique peace found only upon the waves.
