This year Dave and I are going to participate in Birdathon. Birdathon is a fundraiser for the Audubon Society of Central Maryland (ASCM). During it, we will count the number of bird species we see in our backyard over the course of 24 hours. 100% of the money raised will go to support the ASCM's two sanctuaries which are home to birds and innumerable other wildlife. The Audrey Carroll Sanctuary and Fred Archibald Sanctuary offer native plants and animals a haven where they can thrive. Protecting these wild refuges takes money. That is where you come in.
