Hi! I love birds, and I love the accidental encounters I have with so many interesting species near where I live in Frederick County, Maryland. It is always fun to see (and hear!) the returning migratory species joining the year-round residents this time of year. This year, I will choose a nice day to spend as much time as possible outside gardening, walking, and relaxing, while recording all the birds I encounter. I expect to see at least twenty species of birds ‘accidentally’ as I go about my day. Please support the Audubon Society of Central Maryland’s bird conservation and education work by donating to my Accidental Birder Birdathon, and I’ll let you know all the species I see!
