Black Tech Policy Collective is working with BeGreatDC, a 501(c)3 non-profit that has raised funds for their Annual Laptops and Hotspots Drive for 4 years. BTPC aims to boost its efforts to provide even more devices to families in need.

With the Affordable Connectivity Program closing, campaigns such as this are vital for many Americans. The ACP has helped connect over 23 million households with affordable internet and devices, which has proven to be particularly important for the Black community, where 1 in 4 participating households are African American, meaning about 5,750,000 families in our community are at risk of losing internet access by the end of April. BTPC wants to pair theory with practice and ensure some families in the DC area get some much-needed support. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
