Help us continue to send Children's Rosary materials to Nigeria! Through a beautiful collaboration with Fr Paul Miakwap beginning in 2015 the Children's Rosary has flourished in the Diocese of Shendam, Nigeria. Fr. Paul first began the Children's Rosary in his parish. The group became very strong and vocations resulted. After Fr Paul's further study in Rome, he was assigned to the Catechetical institute in Shendam, Nigeria which trains catechists from 9 dioceses. These students come to study for 2 years at the institute. During their training, Fr. Paul invited the students to attend the twice weekly Children's Rosary at the Cathedral in Shendam. The catechetical students were instructed on how to start a Children's Rosary in their own parish. They were also introduced to a 33 Day Consecration to Jesus through Mary using the book Child Consecration: To Jesus through Mary—Following in the Spirit of St. Thérèse, the Little Flower.

To help them in these efforts a large shipment is done by the Children's Rosary annually. Starter packets for beginning a Children's Rosary are gifted to each of the graduating catechists to bring with them as their return to their diocese. This past year we were able to supply a Children's Rosary t shirt for each graduate, fourteen boxes of rosaries were sent and shared with the graduates to use in their new assigned parish. They were also given a Child Consecration book to use with the families of the parish for a 33 Day Consecration journey to Jesus through Mary. This year we also gifted the book A Soul Prepared through Suffering for each graduate to run a 40 Day retreat on suffering.
