Rishi Joginder Bhogal was the definition of a pure, honest, and loving soul. Was. Saying Rishi 'was' will still never feel right for me or any of his loved ones. Anyone who knew Rishi knew what a kind-hearted, fun, and free spirited human he was. He was always thinking about others before himself. He cared deeply about his loved ones. He was an amazing partner to me. He was an amazing son to Pinky auntie and Bittu uncle. He was an amazing brother to Shristy and Dhaval. He was an amazing cousin. He was an amazing friend. I still can't believe he's no longer with us on this earth. I still can't believe this is real life.

Rishi would be turning 27 on 8/10/21. To honor Rishi on his birthday this year, we want to start a fundraiser for Community Service Alliance. Community Service Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless men find housing, employment, and personal and professional development.



Rishi had a passion for helping people. Every time we were out and about in Cleveland or were out on a trip and came across a homeless person, Rishi would always give them something. Whatever cash he had, he would hand it to them. I remember one time in the winter we saw an individual outside with barely any clothing on. Rishi took off his own zip up hoodie (Rishi rarely ever wore a coat and I would always yell at him – Cleveland winters are cold!!) and gave it to the individual and said he needed it more than Rishi did. That was the kind of person Rishi was. Always giving. Always caring. Even to people he didn't know.



"There are more than 23,000 people without safe spaces every year or 4,000 to 4,3000 people homeless every night in Cleveland".



I want to honor Rishi this birthday by starting this fundraiser to help the homeless. All donations will go 100% to Community Service Alliance. Please share and donate to honor Rishi now and forever.
