Historically, the healthcare system treated children living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) with an intention to have them live into their adulthoods. Unfortunately, what care looked like after their childhood was poorly accounted for.

I'm proud to serve as a Co-founder of Crescent Foundation to ensure that the lifespan of those living with SCD is more secure. By improving compassionate evidence-based care and increasing access to disease-modifying and curative therapies, I'm happy to help this deserving community strive for a better tomorrow.
