Dear Friends of Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare, one of our adopters needs our help.  You may remember CONGRUITY, you can read the story of how he made his way to his adopter and long-time follower, Donna Wakefield here.

Congruity arrived in New York on June 10, 2022, about 10 weeks after his last race was on 3/22/22 when he finished 9th. When Congruity arrived the long trip from Puerto Rico and his racing days had really taken a toll. He was thin and tired. Donna worked hard to get some weight on him and help him settle into his forever home, unfortunately, a month later Congruity (now named Miracle) suffered from a pasture accident resulting in a pastern fracture.  Ugh, 90 days of stall rest and vet bills came next.

Who can resist a face like this???? 

 

In addition to the accident, Donna also had to undergo major surgery on her shoulder. The timing of both has left Donna in a tough financial position. We're hoping some of our fans will be willing to help a fellow horse lover and aftercare supporter and her beautiful OTTB (who earned $150,000 during his career for connections) with a donation. If 400 people can donate $5 ea, we can sure make a big difference for Donna and Congruity!
