On September 21st, Police Academy Class 78 will proudly participate in the Rochester 5K to raise funds for the C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association. As future law enforcement officers, we are dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we serve. This run serves as an opportunity to support families impacted by childhood cancer.
C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association is a Rochester-based nonprofit that supports families following a child’s cancer or chronic blood disorder diagnosis. They provide financial, emotional, and educational support during what is often the most difficult time in a family's life. Their work helps relieve some of the burdens so parents can focus on what matters most, their child’s health and well-being.
Our class motto, “Together We Stand,” represents exactly what this run is about: Coming together as one, and being a part of something bigger than ourselves. We are proud to support the missions of this incredible organization and hope that you can help support them as well.
