Welcome to the CureNFwithJack 'Fight NF' Junior Board Run! 

WHAT: This virtual 5k (3.1 miles) walk/run starts April 24th and runs through the entire month of May, which just happens to be World NF Awareness Month! Participants can walk or run at your own pace at any time - in your favorite location!  

WHY: Why are we running?  CureNFwithJack is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding an effective treatment or cure for Neurofibromatosis (NF) through the funding of research.  CureNFwithJack was founded by the Burke Family after their son, Jack, was diagnosed with NF at the age of 2. Jack is now a teenager living in Milton, Georgia. NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on any nerve ending in the body and can lead to blindness, deafness, chronic pain, disfigurement, learning disabilities, bone defects, cardiovascular problems, cancer, and a wide range of other complications. Currently there is no cure or effective treatment for NF.

HOW: Simply register & use the attached form to pay the $20 registration fee, encourage others to donate to your page, get your stretch on, and then make sure you snap photos of your run. The registration fee includes a custom "Fight NF" t-shirt! All participants are encouraged to fundraise to support CureNFwithJack's vision of creating a world without NF.  100% of the net proceeds of this run go directly to NF research. 

THE PERKS: Our top fundraiser will win a $150 cash prize and other runners who share their run on social media will be entered in our gift card raffle.  We also have incentives for top recruiters - get us to 100 runners and you'll get your very own gift card and special recognition on all our social channels!

ABOUT THE JUNIOR BOARD: The CureNFwithJack Junior Advisory Board was created by Jack’s peers who attend local high schools and believe youth involvement is very important in making a change. This year, the Junior Board created a video about NF and meet regularly to discuss how they can make a difference in the lives of all of those affected by NF.
