Barbara Hamilton is one of DC’s most beloved creative forces. As founder of Ociana, one of DC’s premier event and floral design firms, she has brought beauty and joy to countless occasions, from families celebrating life’s milestones to some of the world’s most recognizable names. Her work has been featured in leading publications such as Traditional Home and Vogue, where she collaborated with Annie Leibovitz on a shoot with First Lady Michelle Obama.

Barbara is not only known for her exquisite artistry, but also for her heart. She has generously lent her time and talent to numerous charities, always ready to create magic in support of the community she loves.

Her love for dance began at age three with tap and ballet, later taking her all the way to the sidelines as a professional cheerleader for Washington's NFL team.

Now in her seventh year as a DC’s Dancing Stars Gala Alumni Dancer, Barbara returns to the stage for causes close to her heart.
