Jeff Virchow is a performing arts professional, director, and arts educator with over two decades of experience across stage, film, and regional theater. He serves as a Performing Arts Assistant at The Alden Theatre in Northern Virginia, where he directs touring youth acting troupes, manages theater operations, and curates community performing arts series. His leadership and commitment to regional arts programming earned him the Fairfax County Outstanding Performance Award.

Before establishing his career in Northern Virginia, Jeffrey was a longtime fixture in the tri-state performing arts scene. His performance and production background spans regional main stages, independent films, and work with some of the area's most respected institutions—including featured stage credits at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), the Classical Theatre of Harlem, off-Broadway’s Mint Theatre, and six seasons at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.

Movement, rhythm, and storytelling have always been at the heart of Jeff’s life. A lifelong lover of dance, his versatile creative toolkit seamlessly bridges classical theater, physical comedy, and partner dance. Whether he is directing behind the scenes, sharing his passion for partner dancing at special events, or mentoring young artists, Jeff is driven by a belief in the power of live performance to bring people together.

Now, Jeff is thrilled to step into the spotlight as a 2026 Celebrity Dancer in DC’s Dancing Stars Gala. He is excited to bring his theatrical energy and ballroom flair to the floor while taking on a fun new challenge in support of a fantastic charity, Operation Renewed Hope Foundation—serving veterans and their families in the DC Metropolitan area.

Offstage, Jeff cherishes time spent with his family and friends and exploring the outdoors. He believes in the power of the arts to build community, uplift others, and bring people together—one step at a time.
