Lizeth Alvarado is an award-winning entrepreneur, beauty industry leader, speaker, and host. She is the founder of Epic Beauty Rx and the Greater Washington Academy of Permanent Makeup, where she has built a career around artistry, education, and empowering others to create new possibilities for themselves.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Lizeth spent more than a decade in the financial industry. Since taking the leap into entrepreneurship, her journey has opened doors she never imagined. From hosting red carpets and interviewing notable personalities to speaking on international stages, including recent engagements in Italy at Ferrari and Lamborghini. She is also a recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

A proud Latina, Lizeth has always had a love for music and dance. She was co-captain during her senior high school pom squad and later took dance courses as electives while attending George Mason University. During college, she also participated in an international study-abroad program in Cuba, where she studied Afro-Cuban dance and experienced the country’s culture and rhythms firsthand. Dance was never her profession, but it has always been something she loves.

Now, Lizeth is excited to put her dancing shoes back on as a 2026 Celebrity Dancer in DC’s Dancing Stars Gala. She is honored to take on this new challenge in support of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic and help make life-changing wishes possible for children and families throughout the region.
