Heyyyy! Welcome to my support raising page! My name is Rona Okojie and  I am graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park at the end of May with a BS in Psychology and minor in Human Development. One organization that I fell in love with during my time at UMD was Delight Ministries. Delight is a college women’s ministry that provides Christ centered community and I now have the privilege of working for them full time as a Regional Director.

As a Regional Director, I get to encourage, mentor, and be of support to Delight leaders at about 20 different universities within my region. My role is to ensure that each chapter and its leaders are not simply gathering, but are truly thriving in a community that mirrors one in which Christ has imagined for us. The ministry is entirely student-led, and because of that, someone like me must be there for the leaders to lean on, as they too are mentoring the next generation of believers! Every mentor needs a mentor!

My goal is to raise $45,000 to cover the cost of the position. The amount will cover my living expenses as well as all of my ministry expenses. These expenses include travel and transportation for 10 months as well as resources for the leaders I will be ministering to. My hope is to be fully funded by August 1 st!

The Lord has made it abundantly evident that this is the role I need to be serving in for the next year and I am excited to see the ways in which he continues to show up during my time as a Regional Director. I am so grateful for everyone’s support, as this truly wouldn’t be possible without your prayers and financial partnerships.
