Welcome to my support raising page! If you don’t know me, my name is Torianna Vatcher and I am graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University in May with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Christian Studies. Before I arrived at Point Loma, I felt called to serve in some capacity for small group ministries on my campus. A friend who was a leader at California Lutheran University’s Delight introduced me to Delight ministries and showed me how I could start my own chapter at Point Loma. Through prayer, community, and God’s faithfulness we were able to start a chapter at my school, and I have had the privilege of serving as the Team Director for the last three years! I now have the opportunity of working with Delight as a full time Regional Director!

Delight is a college women’s ministry that provides Christ-centered communities for women all across the country. Delight is a safe space for women to come as they are to be loved and supported on their journeys of faith. Every week we come together to share stories of God’s work in our lives, to grow in our relationships, be encountered by Scripture, and extend care to one another. Throughout the semester, we also gather for fun community events, worship nights, and to partner with the  community for a service project.

As a Regional Director, I have the opportunity to encourage, mentor, and be of support to Delight leaders at around 15 schools across the West Coast. My role is to ensure that every chapter and its leaders are truly thriving in a community that mirrors one in which Christ has imagined for us. As a student-led ministry, it is crucial for someone like me to be there for the leaders to lean on, as they too are mentoring the next generation of believers!

My goal is to raise $45,000 to cover the cost of the position as guided by Delight headquarters and my support raising coach. This amount covers my living expenses plus all ministry expenses, including travel and transportation, for almost 10 months. My goal is to be fully funded by August 1, before the start of fall semester for the schools I will be working with.

Being a part of Delight has completely changed my college experience and impacted my life in ways I never would have imagined. I am continually amazed by the ways God has worked through this ministry and the lives of so many women. As I step into this role of Regional Director, I am filled with confidence and joy from the Lord knowing He has called and equipped me for this role.
