The English High School Association, was founded in 1853 with the stated object of promoting the usefulness and the prosperity of the English High School of Boston, founded in 1821 as the first public high school in the United States.
200 years later, EHSA is a dedicated group numbering thousands of English High Alumni with a mission to support today's English High students through scholarships, tutoring, internships, enrichment programs and more.
