Two years ago, we opened the doors of our bed & breakfast, The Park Street Inn, with a mission that’s anything but ordinary.

What looks from the outside like a charming inn nestled in Bellaire, MI is, in truth, a refuge—a healing space where survivors of human trafficking can rest, recover, and rediscover joy after exploitation. Through our whole-body wellness weekend retreats and our long-term mentorship program, we help courageous women reclaim their lives and their futures.

Today, we’re inviting you to become part of something transformative.

Our beautiful home has served more than 100 survivors since opening. But after two years of wear—and with plans to expand what we can offer—we’re launching a $250,000 capital campaign to renovate and restore our space so it can continue to be a safe, welcoming, and fully functional place of healing for years to come.

With your help, we will:

Renovate guest rooms and shared spaces to increase comfort and capacity for survivors of human trafficking, allowing more women access to our programming 

Replace our roof and fix water damage spots caused by ice build up from an especially harsh winter in 2025

Enhance accessibility and privacy for guests with trauma-informed design

Expand our facility to include quiet reflection areas, outdoor seating, and therapy spaces
