Powering Recovery After Typhoon Tino

  • Powering Recovery After Typhoon Tino
Campaign Description

Restoring Solar & Stability

Over the past week, Typhoon Tino swept through the Philippines striking regions where GivePower solar microgrids bring reliable, renewable energy to off-grid communities. High winds and flooding damaged local infrastructure and disrupted power in several of the areas we serve including systems built and supported by GivePower.

Our local teams are safe and already on the ground assessing each site. Their priority is simple and urgent: restore power quickly so families, schools and essential services can stay connected during this critical time.

These communities are strong. They are rebuilding.

And we are honored to stand along aside as they do it.

Why Your Support Matters Right Now

With additional storms forecasted, now is the moment to act.

Your gift will help:

  • Repair and reinforce solar microgrids damaged in the storm
  • Provide replacement components and emergency solar equipment
  • Strengthen systems to withstand future severe weather
  • Support rapid deployment of field teams and technical specialists

Every dollar helps get power back online—keeping lights on, communication channels open and communities safe, especially in remote areas where grid access is limited or nonexistent.

Your generosity today will help restore power and strengthen these systems in the wake of Typhoon Tino and help prepare for the storms still ahead.

Thank you for standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our team and the communities we serve.
