Why establish the GTP Trust Fund?

This bold step positions GTP to receive complex and major gifts of assets for strategic projects that would not normally be funded by the general budget. It has been formed to position GTP for long-term impact.

The GTP Trust Fund is not an endowment. All gifts will be invested and expended to ensure the perpetuity of the GTP purpose. Both the principal and interest will be administrated by and available to the GTP board to resource the ongoing work of GTP.

How does the GTP board plan to manage the GTP Trust Fund?

The GTP Trust Fund will be stewarded in accordance with the GTP Investment Policy to maximize asset values in the short term to fuel strategic efforts in the long run.

That means the resources will be utilized by GTP in a God-honoring manner to grow further income and maximize program investment.

With board approval, GTP will use these funds for special projects, regional activities, and international summits.
