For the last year I have been a mentor with Good City Mentors at a school in Crenshaw, CA. And it has been a powerful experience that has cracked my heart open and brought me in touch with the youth of Los Angeles.
These kids have let their guards down and are allowing us to foster (and grow with them) a dream for their futures, and they are opening their minds and hearts to a new way of being in the world. It is incredible to watch how powerful sincere, genuine and empowering attention is transforming young lives in these at-risk communities.
