Help us create - for the first time ever - a 24/7 Pink Triangle above San Francisco to celebrate Pride.

For the last two years, Covid restrictions have prevented teams of volunteers from fully constructing Patrick Carney's epic canvas Pink Triangle on Twin Peaks. In its place, arts nonprofit Illuminate installed an acre-sized triangle of pink light, creating the largest-ever illuminated Pink Triangle. 

This year, with your help, we will have both the canvas Pink Triangle and the illuminated Pink Triangle, beginning on June 1 and continuing throughout the month. For more information, visit thepinktrianglesf.org.

Your support will allow this gorgeous and meaningful symbol to remain visible for the entire month of Pride, day and night, emanating hope and resilience throughout San Francisco and across the Bay.

Funds will also support the magical Pink Torch Procession, an Olympic style passing of the torch among LGBTQ unsung heroes, in a procession through Oakland, into San Francisco and up Market Street into the Castro. Torchbearers will be escorted and supported throughout the day by Dykes on Bikes and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The event will culminate with Dykes on Bikes' dramatic ride up the hill from the Castro to the top of Twin Peaks for the Grand Lighting of the Pink Triangle. Last year Speaker Nancy Pelosi and San Francisco Mayor London Breed officially lit the Pink Triangle.
