Imprint Hope's founder and director, Clare Byrne, is a former member of St. Paul's Young Adult Ministry. Over the last 6 years, many from our community at St. Paul Inside the Walls have supported Imprint Hope's work in Jinja, Uganda. In addition to providing financial support to this beautiful mission, several young adults have traveled to Uganda to serve alongside Imprint Hope's team. The Young Adult Ministry has a special connection to the 2-acres of land owned and farmed by Imprint Hope. This will be the site of the first handicap-accessible center for children with disabilities in rural Uganda--the future home of Imprint Hope Center. As Imprint Hope prepares to launch a campaign to raise the $1 million needed to build the new center, there's a very necessary step that needs to take place this summer: the drilling of a bore hole to bring water to the land and the installation of a solar powered pump to operate the well system. Bringing solar power to the land will also provide electricity for Robert, the farmer who manages the land, giving him a light source to help him guard the property at night. This project will take place during the month of August when several young adults from our community will serve with Imprint Hope.
