The Lyric is excited to present our second annual International Women's Festival on Friday, March 6 - Saturday, March 7, 2020.  

Individual donations provide another layer of community inclusion and support that is vital to the International Women's Festival mission. Each dollar raised today is directly invested in supporting, empowering, and celebrating women in this community as we continue to step up to become leaders in our government, our communities, and the arts.

Your donation will help highlight women-owned businesses and organizations in Lexington, KY, while also giving a platform for local female (including those who identify as female) artists and performers to work together in celebrating International Women’s Day. Attendees at our festival are able to enjoy performances, international food, shop with local vendors, learn more about local organizations that are geared towards women, browse an art exhibition that is specifically created and curated for this festival, and give local Girl Scout troops an opportunity to earn the ‘Celebrate Women’ patch.

We are extending our 2020 festival into a two-day event to be held March 6-7 of next year. On Friday, March 6, we will be partnering with Rock House Brewing to host a Kick-Off Concert featuring The Binders, an all-female super group paying homage to the women rockers that came before them. Saturday, March 7, will consist of the full day festival held at The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center.
