There's no denying it: we've got a problem with the way people work. In 2019, there were 188 million unemployed, and 165 million people who, despite being employed, wished they were making more money. Additionally, about 1 in 5 people globally (630 million!) said they did not make enough money to sustain themselves or their families, and 267 million working-age individuals said they were not in employment, education, or training. 

The More Jobs Better Lives Foundation believes that there is potential in every person, community, and country to create meaningful job opportunities that solve not only the myriad of labor issues we face globally but also community-specific issues left unaddressed. From improving farming practices in mountainous Nepal to addressing climate change-caused issues in Bangladesh to starting new businesses in Tanzania, MJBL believes that through the support of cultivating the human resources of potential community leaders, impact occurs in a rippling effect. We support long-lasting change through scholarships, apprenticeships, and financially supporting those who can offer their expertise to others.

We are asking for $30,000 to not only maintain our ongoing support of young people from Nepal, Tanzania, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan but to also expand our initiatives to other communities through new forms of support.
