At NOIR Labs, we are called to the work of Liberation from within. Through storytelling and technology, we work to build a world in which each person, no matter how difficult their circumstances, can be equipped to fulfill God's purpose for their lives. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised…”

We are radically committed to building a world where our humanity—not our titles—determines our worth. Where our communities—not corporations—define the economy. And where our callings—not capitalism—guide our days and wallets.

We believe in human genius. We believe in Black genius. Especially in this moment where economic security is increasingly unstable and traditional systems continue to fail the most vulnerable.

Through our media platform, film festival and purpose fulfillment app, Portal X, we are building systems that help people value themselves, discover their gifts, exchange skills and knowledge sustainably, and create new pathways for economic thriving rooted in purpose, dignity, and divine alignment.

Portal X – Our custom technology platform that will help identify your superpowers, connect you to those who need them, and helps you earn market rate for your talents and knowledge. This is economic exchange reimagined.

NOIR FEST – Our traveling film festival, curating the finest aspirational Black films, art and tech, relaunching during Harvard-Yale Weekend. Here we’ll launch Portal X and present it as a tool for alternative education, creative commerce, and Liberated livelihoods.

We believe that these strategies combined into an ecosystem can provide a sure fire path to economic and social justice–sustainably, joyfully, easefully.

This is the kind of future we desire for our loved ones, for our communities, for our planet.
