Peace Off Grid In Color (OGIC) Community!
I started OGIC as a way to heal from the death of my youngest brother and to provide most of my own basic needs.
What I failed to realized was that I was stepping into a role that many longed to do but did not know how to access. I quickly went from homesteader Chantel living my best cottage core life to Black Female livestock farmer Chantel striving to provide quality food and heal people along the way.
OGIC is waaay more than a farm....but a sanctuary for health and wellness. Along with providing clean meat, we offer doula services and community outreach. Our doula services are low cost to provide access to birth givers who want a birth coach. Our community outreach provides a host of educational opportunities for people to learn and explore the fundamentals of living a sustaining life.
The work of OGIC is community driven and supported. Together we have raised rescued pigs and given away turkeys to EBT customers. I can only do this work with your support and we have so much to do!
Early on, I noticed that I had one supporter who gave $25 every month. While appreciate and support one time and large donations, it's those reoccurring donations that sustain this work. Other asked about ways they can donate on monthly basis. Well here we are!
Whether for a tire to repair, feed to buy, or a massage to help with back pain (due to manual labor), your donation will be used to support the general operations of OGIC.
